<p class="bill_description"> This bill would allow an active and
contributing member of the Teachers' Retirement
System to purchase credit in the system for certain
prior service rendered as a graduate assistant in
the School of Education, Department of Curriculum
and Instruction, at the University of Alabama at
Birmingham</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to the Teachers' Retirement System; to
allow an active and contributing member of the Teachers'
Retirement System to purchase credit in the system for certain
prior service rendered as a graduate assistant in the School
of Education, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, at the
University of Alabama at Birmingham.
