Relating to the City of Atmore, in Escambia County; to authorize the City Council of the City of Atmore to regulate and permit the sale and dispensing of alcoholic beverages during certain hours on Sunday by properly licensed licensees serving the general public in the city.

Section 1

The City Council of the City of Atmore in Escambia County, by ordinance, may regulate and permit the sale and dispensing of alcoholic beverages during certain hours on Sunday, as determined by the city council, by properly licensed licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and the City of Atmore, who hold licenses issued pursuant to Section 28-3A-3, Code of Alabama 1975, and who serve the general public in the city.

Section 2

This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
