ENROLLED, House Joint Resolution,
COMMENDING REPRESENTATIVE ED HENRY FOR DISTINGUISHED
LEGISLATIVE SERVICE.
WHEREAS, we note with utmost admiration and
appreciation the distinguished service of our friend and
colleague, Representative Ed Henry, to the citizens of House
District 9, in Cullman, Marshall, and Morgan Counties, since
being elected in November 2010; and
WHEREAS, Representative Henry has been actively
involved in the legislative process through his important
leadership and committee assignments including: Ethics and
Campaign Finance, Education Policy, and State Government; and
WHEREAS, a resident of Decatur, Representative Henry
earned his bachelor's degree in radiological sciences from
Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Representative Henry is married to Wendi
Brown and they have two children; and
WHEREAS, Representative Henry has worked tirelessly
on behalf of the citizens of Alabama while serving in the
House of Representatives and all who have served with him will
always remember his dedication and inspiring service; now
therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That we heartily commend
Representative Henry for his outstanding service to the people
of House District 9 and the State of Alabama and for his
invaluable contributions to this body for the past eight
years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this
resolution will be presented to Representative Henry with our
highest esteem and appreciation, as well as sincere best
wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.
