MOURNING THE DEATH OF MRS. NANCY SUE TURNER.
WHEREAS, it is with profound sorrow that we note the
death on February 18, 2018, of Mrs. Nancy Sue (Harp Bonney)
Turner of Southside, Alabama, at the age of 84 years; and
WHEREAS, her passing leaves a void in the lives of
her loving family, many friends, and the entire community,
where she was highly regarded; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Turner was born and reared in
Southside, Alabama; she was a graduate of Southside High
School; and
WHEREAS, she worked as a medical librarian for Noble
Army Hospital at Fort McClellan and retired in 1972; and
WHEREAS, after retirement, Mrs. Turner became an
avid doll collector and traded dolls all over the world; and
WHEREAS, she was preceded in death by her parents,
Carl Fred Harp and Viola Capes Harp; and her first husband,
William Nicholas "Bill" Bonney; and
WHEREAS, survivors include her husband, Jesse B.
Turner; daughters, Deborah Bonney Morgan (Gary) and Patsy
Bonney Iliff (George); son, Jesse Paul Turner (Deb);
grandchilden, Brandi M. Tramel (Chris), Nicholas Whisenant
(Shandi), Chris Murray (Taylor), Dustin Murray (Naomi), Deven
Williams, Ashley Kendrick (Jonathan), Jennifer Morgan, Brooke
Turner McGraw (Logan), and Alica Rosson Hester (Scott);
special daughter and grandsons, Jessie Beth Jarmon, Casey
Jarmon, and Matt Jarmon; great-grandchilden, Jonathan
Stephens, Zane Whisenant, Gabriel Whisenant. Hayley Murray,
Hallee Shriver, Jesse Jones, Paisley Murray, Alex Morgan,
Ashley Parrish, Brayden Williams, Aubree Williams, and Emersyn
Kendrick; and a host of nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, although her presence will be greatly
missed, the memory of Mrs. Turner will be cherished in the
hearts of all who knew and loved her; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF
THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the death of Mrs. Turner is
recorded with deep sadness, and this resolution is offered in
tribute to her life and with heartfelt sympathy to her family,
whose grief is shared by many.
