MOURNING THE DEATH AND CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF
JEFFREY SCOTT TEEL.
WHEREAS, we are greatly saddened to learn of the
death of Jeffrey Scott Teel on January 1, 2018, at only 27
years of age, and we uplift his legacy with utmost reverence
and respect; and
WHEREAS, Jeffrey's passing leaves a void in the
lives of his loving family, many friends, and the entire
community, where he was highly regarded; and
WHEREAS, a native of Douglas, Georgia, he lived in
Gadsden for most of his life; he attended Etowah High School
and worked at Max Packaging in Attalla; he was an Avid Alabama
football fan and loved the beach; he was a devoted husband,
father, son, and brother whose greatest love was his family;
and
WHEREAS, survivors include his beloved and devoted
wife, Chelsey Teel; children, Sara, Bryson, Maylen, Jagger,
and Sophia Teel; parents, Julie (Mike) Sanders and Donnie
(Eloisa) Teel; brothers, Chris (Taera) Teel and Justin (Blair)
Teel; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins;
and
WHEREAS, Jeffrey Scott Teel was a valued member of
the community; although his presence is greatly missed, his
memory is cherished in the hearts and minds of all those who
were fortunate enough to know him; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF
THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That while grieving the death of
Jeffrey Scott Teel, we are extremely grateful for his abundant
life, and we offer this resolution in highest tribute to him,
as well as in heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.
