SB245 Alabama 2018 Session

Under existing law, the Governor is directed to develop a four-year strategic plan for the operation of state government for presentation to the Legislature prior to the first day of the second regular legislative session of each term.

This bill would require the Governor to transmit a copy of the plan in electronic format to each member of the Legislature and would direct the Governor to post the four-year strategic plan on the Governor's website.

To amend Section 41-19-3 of the Code of Alabama 1975, providing for the Governor to develop a four-year strategic plan for the operation of state government for presentation to the Legislature, to require the Governor to transmit a copy of the plan in electronic format to each member of the Legislature and for the Governor to post the four-year strategic plan on the Governor's website.
