Relating to the City of Birmingham in Jefferson County; to authorize the Birmingham City Council to authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages within the corporate limits of the city for on-premises consumption on Sunday commencing at 10:00 a.m.

Section 1

This act shall only apply to the City of Birmingham in Jefferson County.

Section 2

In addition to any other authority for the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday, the Birmingham City Council may authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption on Sunday commencing at 10:00 a.m.

Section 3

The provisions of this act are supplemental and shall not be construed to repeal any other law except to the extent of any direct conflict with this act.

Section 4

This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
