- Law enforcement, definition of working day for purposes of subsistence allowance clarified, Sec. 36-21-2 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, certain law enforcement officers receive a subsistence allowance of twelve dollars ($12) per working day of a pay period.
This bill would clarify that a working day is defined as any period of time an officer is engaged in the performance of his or her duties for a period of four or more hours within a consecutive 24-hour period of time.
