Title: Fishing licenses, provide an exception from licensure to members of a high school fishing team, Secs. 9-11-53, 9-11-53.1 am'd.
Description: Under existing law, members of a high school fishing team are not exempt from fishing license requirements.
This bill would provide an exception for members of a public or private high school fishing team fishing under the direct supervision of the fishing coach. This exception would apply to both freshwater and saltwater fishing licenses.
