Title
Hoover, ad valorem tax for public schools, increase by 2.4 mills, referendum
Description
To authorize the City Council of the City of Hoover in Jefferson County and Shelby County, pursuant to Amendment No. 373 of the Constitution of Alabama 1901, to increase the rate of the ad valorem tax levied and collected on all taxable property in the city which is authorized pursuant to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, by an additional 2.4 mills on each dollar ($0.24 on each one hundred dollars) of assessed value to be used exclusively for public school purposes.
