Description

Under Amendment 899 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, now appearing as Section 7.50, Local Amendments, Etowah County, Official Recompilation of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended, with certain exceptions, including the director of communications, employees of the Office of the Sheriff of Etowah County are subject to the jurisdiction of the Personnel Board of the Office of the Sheriff

This bill would propose an amendment to Amendment 899 to provide that, with certain exceptions, the employees of the Office of the Sheriff of Etowah County are subject to the jurisdiction of the Personnel Board of Etowah County instead of the Personnel Board of the Office of the Sheriff, and would remove the director of communications from, and add the chief fiscal officer to, the list of employees who are excepted from the amendment
