Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, a portion of coal
severance tax proceeds are distributed to the
Marion County Community Development Association,
Inc</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would redistribute the tax
proceeds to the Northwest Alabama Economic and
Community Alliance and terminate the tax on October
1, 2033</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Sections 40-13-6 and 40-13-8, Code of
Alabama 1975; relating to the excise and privilege tax on
coal; to provide further for the distribution of tax proceeds;
and to terminate the tax on October 1, 2033.
</p>
