Title

Permanent Joint Transportation Committee, technical corrections regarding Dept. of Transporation's long-range plan, long-range plan clarified, clarification of the Alabama Dept.of Transportation's duties and information requirements to the committee relating to the long-range plan, Sections 29-2-1, 29-2-2, 29-2-3, 29-2-4, 29-2-6, and 29-2-8 am'd.

Description

This bill amends certain sections of the Code of Alabama 1975, which provide for the creation of a permanent joint transportation standing committee that reviews the long-range plan and the budgets of the Alabama Department of Transportation

Relating to the Permanent Joint Transportation Committee; to amend Sections 29-2-1, 29-2-2, 29-2-3, 29-2-4, 29-2-6, and 29-2-8, Code of Alabama 1975; to provide for technical corrections concerning the duties of the committee as it relates to the Alabama Department of Transportation long-range plan; to provide clarification of the long-range plan; and to provide clarification of the Alabama Department of Transportation's duties and information requirements to the Committee relating to the long-range plan.
