To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines and corporate limits of the Town of Baker Hill in Barbour County.

Section 1

The boundary lines and corporate limits of the Town of Baker Hill in Barbour County are altered, rearranged, and extended to include within the corporate limits of the municipality, in addition to the lands now included, all of the following territory: Commencing at the existing North City Limits of the Town of Baker Hill, Barbour County, Alabama and the centerline of Barbour County Road 79, also being the POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence, along the centerline of Barbour County Road 79, Northerly and Northwesterly to the centerline of Edgar Woods Road; Thence, along the centerline of Edgar Woods Road to the centerline of the East Fork of the Choctawhatchee River; Thence, along the centerline of the Choctawhatchee River to the centerline of Williams Mill Road; Thence, along the centerline of Williams Mill Road to the West line of the existing City Limits of the Town of Baker Hill, Barbour County, Alabama; Thence, along the existing City Limits of the Town of Baker Hill, Barbour County, Alabama Northerly to the Northwest corner of the existing City Limits of the Town of Baker Hill, Barbour County, Alabama; Thence, Easterly along said existing City Limits of the Town of Baker Hill, Barbour County, Alabama to the centerline of Barbour County Road 79 and the POINT OF BEGINNING.

Section 2

In accordance with Section 11-42-6(b) of the Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing what territory is proposed to be annexed to the Town of Baker Hill is on file in the office of the Judge of Probate in Barbour County, Alabama, and the map is open to the inspection of the public.

Section 3

This act shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
