Title
Revenue Dept., to provide subsistence pay for law enforcement officers employed by the dept., Sec. 36-21-2 am'd.
Description
Under existing law, a law enforcement officer of the state who is employed by certain agencies is paid subsistence pay for each working day of a pay period while engaged in the performance of the duties as a law enforcement officer
This bill would include the law enforcement officers employed by the Investigations Division of the Department of Revenue as individuals who may receive subsistence pay
Relating to the Department of Revenue; to amend Section 36-21-2, Code of Alabama 1975, as last amended by Act 2019-451, 2019 Regular Session, to provide subsistence pay for law enforcement officers employed by the Department of Revenue; and to provide retroactive effect.
