Title
Revenue Dept., to provide subsistence pay for law enforcement officers employed by the dept., Sec. 36-21-2 am'd.
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, a law enforcement
officer of the state who is employed by certain
agencies is paid subsistence pay for each working
day of a pay period while engaged in the
performance of the duties as a law enforcement
officer</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would include the law enforcement
officers employed by the Investigations Division of
the Department of Revenue as individuals who may
receive subsistence pay</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to the Department of Revenue; to amend
Section 36-21-2, Code of Alabama 1975, as last amended by Act
2019-451, 2019 Regular Session, to provide subsistence pay for
law enforcement officers employed by the Department of
Revenue; and to provide retroactive effect.
