Title
Water utility, nonprofit corps., rates approved by Public Service Commission, audit by Dept. of Examiners of Public Accounts
Description
<p class="bill_description"> This bill would provide that any increase in
the water rates by a nonprofit corporation which
provides water service to the public in this state
would be subject to approval by the Public Service
Commission</p><p class="bill_description">
The bill would also require the nonprofit
corporation to be audited by the Department of
Examiners of Public Accounts</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to nonprofit corporations which provide
water service to the public; to require any increase in water
rates to be approved by the Public Service Commission; and to
require the nonprofit corporation to be audited by the
Department of Examiners of Public Accounts.
