Under existing law, the State Board of Education is authorized to establish and issue alternative teaching certificates to qualified individuals who may not have graduated from an approved teacher education program.
This bill would authorize the State Board of Education to establish and award an alternative teaching certificate to certain qualified former members of the United States Armed Forces.
