Title
Motor vehicles, law enforcement, allow for members of law enforcement to have dark tint on their personal vehicles, Sec. 32-5C-2 am'd.
Description

Under existing law, a motor vehicle may not be operated in this state if it has material or glazing applied to the front window that reduces light transmission or to rear or side windows that reduces light transmission by more than a specified percentage

This bill would provide for an exception to the prohibition for personal vehicles owned by active or retired state, local, or federal law enforcement officers

Relating to motor vehicles; to amend Section 32-5C-2, Code of Alabama 1975; to provide for an exception to the prohibition on the operation of vehicles with tinted windows for personal vehicles of active or retired state, local, or federal law enforcement officers.
