Title
Attorney General, required to provide opinion to state legislature under certain conditions, Sec. 36-15-1 am'd.
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, an opinion of the
Attorney General may be requested by the Chair of
the Judiciary Committee of either house upon any
matter under consideration of the committee</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would require the Attorney General
to give his or her opinion upon the request of any
state legislator on a question of law relating to
the duties of the state legislator</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to the Attorney General; to amend Section
36-15-1, Code of Alabama 1975, to require the Attorney General
to give his or her opinion upon the request of any state
legislator on a question of law relating to the duties of the
state legislator.
