Title
University of Montevallo, makeup of board of trustees revised to include at least one nonresident member appointed at-large, Sec. 16-54-2 am'd.
Description
Under existing law, the membership of the Board of Trustees of the University of Montevallo includes the Governor and State Superintendent of Education as ex officio trustees and 11 additional trustees, consisting of one trustee appointed from each congressional district and state-at-large trustees
This bill would allow one of the 11 additional trustees serving on the board to be a nonresident appointed at-large
To amend Section 16-54-2, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the Board of Trustees of the University of Montevallo; to allow one of the trustees serving on the board to be a nonresident appointed at-large.
