Title
Tuscaloosa Co. and Jefferson Co., sewer systems, privately owned in City of Lakeview and unincorp. area of Tuscaloosa Co., reg. by Public Service Comm. from Jan. 2023 to Dec. 2027, const. amend.
Description

Under existing law, privately owned sewer systems, with certain exceptions, are regulated by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management with regard to sewage treatment, but are not regulated by the Public Service Commission with regard to rates and consumer protection.
