Secretary of State, Legislature, bills and resolutions, authorized to provide digital copies only, Sec. 36-14-1 am'd.
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, the Secretary of State is required to provide 10 copies of all bills, joint resolutions, and memorials upon the request of either house of the Legislature and to bind all bills, joint resolutions, and memorials upon the adjournment of each session</p><p class="bill_description"> This bill would allow the Secretary of State to provide digital copies of all bills, resolutions, and memorials electronically to the Legislature and would eliminate the binding requirement</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to the Secretary of State; to amend Section 36-14-1, Code of Alabama 1975, to allow the Secretary of State to provide digital copies of all bills, resolutions, and memorials electronically to the Legislature; and to eliminate the binding requirement. </p>
