- Relating to municipalities; to add Section 11-43-23 to the Code of Alabama 1975, to prohibit the employment of city managers by certain municipal governments after a certain date.
- Description
Under existing law, any municipal government consisting of a mayor and aldermen or of a commission are authorized to employ a city manager.
This bill would end that authorization on January 1, 2023.
