- Traffic infractions, requires a citing agency to notify a minor's parent or guardian when the minor receives a traffic citation
- Description
Under existing law, if a minor is cited for a tobacco violation, the citing agency must notify the minor's parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian.
This bill would require a citing agency to notify a minor's parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian whenever a minor is cited for a traffic infraction.
This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
