The bill keeps the Alabama Securities Commission in operation through October 1, 2028 under the Sunset Law.
It continues the existence and functions of the Alabama Securities Commission until October 1, 2028. It preserves the statutes that created the Commission (Chapter 6 of Title 8) in Alabama law. The Legislature accepts the Sunset Committee's recommendation to continue the agency, and the act takes effect June 1, 2024.
