SB136 continues the Statewide 911 Board’s existence and operations through October 1, 2026 under the Sunset Law.
It keeps the Statewide 911 Board in place and operating through October 1, 2026. It preserves the current law that created the board (Chapter 98 of Title 11) and maintains its authority and functions. The Legislature agrees with the Sunset Committee’s recommendation to continue the board. It becomes law with an effective date of June 1, 2024.
