It continues the Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors, which licenses and regulates electricians and electrical contractors, through October 1, 2026. It preserves the underlying statutes that create and govern the board (Sections 34-36-1 to 34-36-18). The measure is based on the Alabama Sunset Law, with the new effective date of June 1, 2025. The Legislature agrees with the Sunset Committee's recommendation to continue the board.
