Under existing law, the Board of Trustees of the Department of Archives and History is composed of two members from each congressional district and two at-large members.
This bill would increase the composition of the board to 17 members and revise the manner in which members are appointed.
This bill would provide for retroactive effect.
This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
