Description

Under existing law, the Alabama Workforce Board may consist of up to 40 members.

This bill would increase the maximum number of board members to 45.

This bill would establish a quorum of four voting members of the Alabama Workforce Board Executive Committee to do business and make decisions.

This bill would allow members of the executive committee to participate in meetings by electronic means, including for voting and establishing a quorum.

Under existing law, a regional workforce board may consist of up to 20 members.

This bill would increase the maximum number of required workforce board members to 25.

This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
