Andrea Alvarez
General Information
Andrea Alvarez is a proud product of Huntsville City Schools. She grew up in Huntsville, attending Challenger Elementary and Middle School and graduating from Grissom High School in 2003. She has three children who currently attend Challenger Elementary School. Her commitment to Huntsville City Schools runs deep.
Andrea currently serves as President of the Challenger Elementary School PTA. She has served on the Challenger PTA Board for the last four years, and in 2020, she was chosen as the Huntsville Council of PTA’s “Volunteer of the Year.” She has a proven track record of building bridges between parents, teachers, and administrators that strengthen our schools and improve outcomes for our children.
Andrea is running for Huntsville City School Board Position 3 because she believes Huntsville City Schools can and should lead the state in education.
