As a teacher in the Madison County School System and as a parent whose children have attended Madison County Schools, I know exactly what is at stake. I understand our challenges and will leverage opportunities for all students to achieve success in the classroom and in life. We need to foster respect and discipline in every classroom to ensure that all students have a safe and positive learning environment. Every child should have access to 21st-century technology.

The pandemic has taught us that our methods of instruction and use of technology must be flexible to ensure each child has the instructional rigor necessary for success. Success includes not only college prep but also trade school skills. Regardless of the methodology, Madison County Schools must maintain the highest standards to meet or exceed the best in our nation and this world. As a parent, I know education is not always easy. And as a teacher, I understand that it is truly a team effort to give the best to our children. My experience as a teacher, parent, and veteran makes me the best choice to serve you and the children in our community.
