The Alabama Ethics Commission on Wednesday voted 4-0 to refer a complaint about Alabama State Senator David Burkette (D-Montgomery) to the Montgomery District Attorney. Charles Price, a the chair of the Ethics Commission, abstained from the vote.
No details about what the complaint entails has been given at this time.
Burkette is a former Montgomery City Councilman in his first term as State Senator.
