Description

Under existing law, the Department of Revenue may not issue a certificate of title for a vehicle that was not manufactured to comply with federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations governing safety standards in effect at the time of manufacture and has not subsequently been modified to comply with the standard

This bill would authorize a certificate of title for certain mini-trucks to operate on the streets and highways, except interstate highways

Relating to motor vehicles; to regulate registration and operation of mini-trucks.
