Description
This bill would amend the Alabama Veteran Tag Program to provide for two distinctive tags, one for the veterans of Desert Shield/Desert Storm who receive the National Defense Service Medal, and one for the veterans of Desert Shield/Desert Storm who received the Southwest Asia Service Medal
To amend Section 32-6-350 of the Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the Alabama Veteran Tag Program; to clarify that two distinctive tags shall be available to veterans of Desert Shield/Desert Storm, one distinctive tag for Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veterans who received the National Defense Service Medal, and one distinctive tag for Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veterans who received the Southwest Asia Service Medal.
