The bill changes the boundary to include the described land into Trussville's corporate limits, totaling about 383.8 acres with certain parcels excluded. It also allows the parent or guardian of a student who lives in the annexed area and is in the St. Clair County school system to choose whether the student stays in St. Clair County schools or moves to Trussville City schools. A map of the proposed annexation is filed and publicly accessible. The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month after passage and governor approval.
