COMMENDING ROSALYN TAYLOR GRACE FOR HER EXEMPLARY
SERVICE AS PAGE COORDINATOR FOR THE ALABAMA SENATE.
WHEREAS, highest commendations are herein proudly
presented to Rosalyn Taylor Grace for exemplary service as the
Page Coordinator for the Alabama Senate; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Grace began working for the Alabama
Senate as a temporary employee on April 16, 1991; she became a
full-time employee on June 3, 1991; and
WHEREAS, previously, she served as secretary to the
late Senator Charles Langford until 1998; and
WHEREAS, after the retirement of Senator Langford,
Mrs. Grace continued to faithfully serve the Alabama Senate as
a Secretarial Floater when needed for all Senators;
WHEREAS, as of February 1, 2011, Mrs. Grace was
appointed as Page Coordinator for the Alabama Senate; and
WHEREAS, she is married to Bishop Maurice Grace, Sr.
and they are the proud parents of Amber Grace, Maurice Grace,
II, and Tabitha Grace; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Grace is founder and pastor of The
Living Word Church, where she serves as First Lady, Ordained
Elder, Sunday School Superintendent, and is a part of Music
Ministry; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Grace earned her Bachelor's Degree in
Communications from Auburn University; and
WHEREAS, she is the author of three books of poetry:
"God Proves His Love to You," "God Gives You Victory," and
"Who, What, When, Why, How God Wants You to be Blessed"; and
WHEREAS, she enjoys baking cakes; won 1st place
award at the Alabama National Fair for her Cake Design; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Grace has earned widespread respect
and admiration for her dedication, and she is deserving of
special commendation; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE LEGISLATURE OF
ALABAMA, That Mrs. Rosalyn Taylor Grace is highly honored and
commended, and this resolution is offered to her in deepest
admiration and appreciation for her immeasurable service, as
well as with sincere best wishes for continued success in all
future endeavors.
