- Soil and water conservation districts, extend limited civil liability immunity to district supervisors and employees for rental or lending of equipment, Sec. 9-8-25 am'd.
- Description
Current law authorizes the supervisors and employees of a soil and water conservation district to loan or rent equipment and supplies for the conservation of soil resources and for the prevention and control of soil erosion.
This bill would extend limited immunity from civil liability to district supervisors and employees who loan or rent equipment and supplies for the conservation of soil resources and for the prevention and control of soil erosion. This immunity would only apply to actions related to use of that equipment or supplies.
