Description
Under existing law, a portion of coal severance tax proceeds are distributed to the Marion County Community Development Association, Inc
This bill would redistribute the tax proceeds to the Northwest Alabama Economic and Community Alliance and terminate the tax on October 1, 2033
To amend Sections 40-13-6 and 40-13-8, Code of Alabama 1975; relating to the excise and privilege tax on coal; to provide further for the distribution of tax proceeds; and to terminate the tax on October 1, 2033.
