Relating to Baldwin County; to authorize the judge of probate to employ a person to be designated the Administrator of Motor Vehicle Tags and Licenses; and to provide for the appointment, duties, and compensation of the administrator.

Section 1

The Baldwin County Judge of Probate may employ a person to be designated the County Administrator of Motor Vehicle Tags and Licenses. The administrator shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the judge of probate. The administrator shall receive a salary to be set by the judge of probate subject to approval of the Baldwin County Commission. The administrator shall be paid in the same manner and shall receive the same benefits as other county employees. The administrator shall generally supervise the operation of the motor vehicle tag and licenses office and shall perform other duties as assigned by the judge of probate.

Section 2

This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
