Title
Lee Co., boards of registrars, increase maximum number of days board may meet each year, Sec. 17-3-8 am'd.
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, the board of registrars
in Lee County may only meet a maximum of 168
working hours each fiscal year, and an additional
30 days at the discretion of the county commission</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would allow the board of
registrars in Lee County to meet five days each
week of the year</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to boards of registrars; to amend Section
17-3-8, Code of Alabama 1975, as last amended by Act 2019-439,
2019 Regular Session, and Act 2020-113, 2020 Regular Session;
to increase the maximum number of days the board of registrars
in Lee County may meet each year.
