Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, circuit judges' salaries
are set by statute. District attorneys' salaries
are based on circuit judges' salaries</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would establish the initial
salaries for district attorneys and would provide
for salary increases based on previous experience</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to compensation; to amend Section
12-17-182, Code of Alabama 1975, to further provide for the
salaries of district attorneys.
