Description

Under existing general law, the term of the Revenue Commissioner of Cullman County commences on October 1 following election at the general election in November of the prior calendar year

This bill would propose a local amendment to the Constitutional of Alabama of 1901, relating to Cullman County, to provide that the term of office of the Revenue Commissioner would commence on December 1 following the general election in 2026, and every six years thereafter. The term of the office of the incumbent revenue commissioner would expire on November 30, 2026
