- Relating to courts; to amend Section 12-19-210, Code of Alabama 1975, to increase the expense allowance and mileage reimbursement paid to jurors by order or rule.

Under existing law, a juror receives mileage reimbursement of $0.05 per mile traveled for court and receives $10 per day for an expense allowance.
This bill would allow the Alabama Supreme Court to increase the mileage rate and expense allowance by order or rule.
