HB198 would extend the sunset review for the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, continuing its existence and functions until October 1, 2027.
The bill keeps the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in operation through October 1, 2027. It preserves the underlying regulatory framework (Sections 34-11-1 to 34-11-37) that supports theBoard’s work. It becomes effective immediately upon passage and governor’s approval (or when it otherwise becomes law).
