Title
Relating to commissions; to amend Sections 9-14C-2 and 9-14C-8, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide for the Red Mountain Greenway and Recreational Area Commission to be renamed the Jefferson County Greenways Commission.
Description
Under existing law, the Red Mountain Greenway and Recreational Area Commission is responsible for acquiring, establishing, operating, and maintaining the land and buildings along Red Mountain in Jefferson County as a greenway, recreational, and educational area, alternative transport route, and historic site
This bill would rename this commission the Jefferson County Greenways Commission
