HB364 requires public K-12 schools, local boards of education, and certain event organizers to accept cash and other forms of payment for admission to school-sponsored events open to the public.
Public K-12 schools and local boards of education would have to accept cash, along with any other payment methods they choose, for admission to school-sponsored sporting events open to the public. It also extends to events that are open to the public, feature at least one public K-12 team, and are held on public school or university property, requiring cash plus other payment forms as selected by the event organizer. The act becomes effective immediately after the Governor signs and approves it.
