- Relating to motor vehicle licenses; to amend Section 32-6-4.3 and Sections 32-6-6, 32-6-6.1, 32-6-15, and 32-6-21, as last amended by Act 2022-300, 2022 Regular Session, Code of Alabama 1975, to eliminate all fees associated with the issuance of a driver license or nondriver identification card to qualified disabled veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

Under existing law, various fees may be charged for the issuance of driver licenses and nondriver identification cards.
This bill would eliminate all fees associated with the issuance of a driver license or nondriver identification card to qualified disabled veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
