Relating to the Alabama Women's Tribute Statue Commission; to add Section 41-9-338.4, Code of Alabama 1975, to exempt the commission from the public works competitive bid laws.
Description

The Alabama Women's Tribute Statue Commission was established to fund, commission, and place statues of Rosa Parks and Helen Keller on the grounds of the Capitol.

This bill would exempt the commission from the public works competitive bid laws for purposes of procuring the statues.
