House Ways and Means General Fund Hearing
Room 617 at 13:30:00

HB52 would require at least one residential transition center operated by the Board of Pardons and Paroles to be a women's facility.
If passed, the bill ensures the board has one or more residential transition centers, and at least one of them must be a women’s facility. The designated women's facility would be named the Women's CARE Facility. These centers would house parolees and probationers who are ordered to serve a period of confinement under certain sections of law (15-22-32 or 15-22-54).
