House State Government Hearing
Room 206 at 15:00:00

This bill changes who sits on the Contract Review Permanent Legislative Oversight Committee by adding more members from both chambers to oversee state contracts for private services.
It defines the Contract Review Permanent Legislative Oversight Committee as including the Chairs of four key committees plus 3–4 additional members from the Senate and 3–4 additional members from the House, appointed by the Senate President and House Speaker. Members may serve as long as they hold their qualifying office or during their appointed term, and may continue into the next legislative term if reelected without a break. The committee is responsible for reviewing state contracts for personal or professional services with private entities or individuals. The act takes effect on the first day of the third month after governor approval.
